Here at River City Glassworks, we are committed to giving back to our community in gratitude for all the support and blessings that we have received. Each month we commit a portion of our earnings to be given to a local charity, non-profit, or individual that is helping to make a difference in San Marcos. Here is a partial list of the recipients since we formed our partnership in February, 2021:
H.O.M.E. Center of Central Texas
The HOME Center (Homeless Outreach, Mitigation, and Emergency Center) unites community efforts to comprehensively prevent and address homelessness and educate the community about it as an issue. During the recent, devastating winter storm in Texas, HOME worked tirelessly to house and feed those in need in San Marcos.

In March, we made a gift to an individual who serves others unconditionally. Even though her home was badly damaged during the great freeze, she still reaches out to others with empathy and caring. We are lucky to have such a lovely person among us.
YSB
The San Marcos Youth Service Bureau is an independent, non-profit agency that has been in operation since 1975. They provide free after-school and summer programs to youth ages 11-17. Originally a pilot project of Southside Community Center to address the chemical abuse problem in the San Marcos area, the agency’s focus soon evolved to include prevention of all delinquent behaviors. In the past several years, YSB has concentrated on the overall promotion of healthy youth development in San Marcos and Hays County.
Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center
We envision a future where violence and abuse are not tolerated in the communities we serve.
We provide education, violence prevention services and crisis intervention to victims of family violence, dating violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
Cajun Navy
Come hell or high water, the Cajun Navy is there to help.
The Cajun Navy team is made up of professionals with years of experience delivering technology, business software, social media, logistics and marketing solutions; every day we are working to connect local citizens who would like to work together to help deliver more efficient relief.
