The element of earth, represented in stained glass. This piece measures 5" X 15" and uses a variety of materials to represent the life-giving earth. A real polished stone represents the seed of the plant, and lead came construction is used to represent the roots flowing beneath the soil and the young plant sending its tender leaves toward the sun. Wire overlays enhance the scene.

The stained glass Kathryn chose for the earth is among the most stunning in our collection. A riot of deep colors plays across the piece, and is representative of the infinite possibilities that may be found in our earth, if one will just explore. The deep texture of the glass suggests the look and feel of good earth.

A zinc frame completes the piece, and two wire loops are attached to the top for hanging.
