Original, one-of-a-kind stained glass red dragon panel which will be sure to turn heads and start conversations.

Inspiration for this panel came while reading a series of dragon books with my daughter. Her excitement for the topic was contagious, and every evening when we'd begin our reading, I'd feel a tug from the studio, begging me to come and make a dragon.

This round panel measures 15" across, and has many features. Four beveled stars punctuate the deep green, wispy border. I chose deeply hued red glass for the dragon, and a lovely gold for the wings. The dragon's belly is made from a highly textured gold glass that resembles scales. Made in the copper foil method, the teeth are overlaid, and a black patina is applied to the entire piece. The border material is lead. This piece has two hangers attached, ready to hang in your favorite window.
